I just launched a new blog at www.geordiblog.blogspot.com. The preliminary name is Geordi Dosher's Game Dev Blog, but I (like you) don't love the name. But anyway, just wanted to let you know. I'm writing some cool stuff about my personal game development journey, as well as my thoughts about some popular game news. Check it out!

Yes I am aware that my face has fallen of the face of the earth. Lots of interesting (non-computer) stuff is happening, mainly remodeling a
house...which does not suit my computer geek skills.
I am also in the process of rebranding some things which my entail a moving this blog somewhere else. When I started CG-DJ almost exactly 3 years ago, I was a totally different person. I started out as a blender artist, then moved to trying to figure out game development, then dabbling in freelance 3D game art and design, and now finally indie game development with more programming than art. It's been a wild ride, and fun to look back at the blog and see what worked and didn't.
However, I feel as though I've outgrown the blog. I barely do or have much interest in any CG stuff anymore, so I feel as though the blogs title has kinda gone out of date. I have also started to veer away from the title CG-DJ. It's just not me anymore.
But there is good news. Just cause I've changed doesn't mean I can't blog about my experiences! I'm excited to get the site up and running as soon as I can set my computer up. I'm also interested in podcast in, Twitch streaming, and more! I will post links and probably have this site redirect to the new site when the new site is ready!
Hang on for a bumpy ride! (like the fun wooden roller coaster type, not 1800s carriage kind)

I'm taking a Calculus class at the college, and it's been a cram week for that. I was out for the weekend at a conference. I'm working on a website, trying to write some church materials, and trying to fix an impossible bug!
I've been having problems with this bug (also here and here) and have had no luck. I'm thinking that I should just change my game a little and let the player walk through the enemies, although this adds some problems too!
Anyway, I just needed to post something. I want to post a video of my progress to YouTube once I get the game working again!
